I realized my passion and aptitude for crafting beautiful living spaces while remodeling our own home. For many people, the process of building or remodeling a home is a once-in-a-lifetime effort never to be repeated again. Not for me. The journey of building the home of our dreams was laborious, complex, and time-intensive, and I loved every minute of it. Creating a functional habitat molded to its surroundings was a lot of fun, just like putting a puzzle piece together.
Great design isn't just a theoretical pursuit. Over the years, I have spent a significant time with craftspeople -- framers, cabinet makers, floor and tile installers, window specialists, painters, etc -- and developed a keen sense for turning design into reality.
